For me the individuals who are truly important in my life are those I tend to call directly. There is something special about hearing or friend or family member voice than texting messages simply can’t reply or replicate. Moreover I have realized that my schedule is quite hectic which makes reading and responding to long messages a bit inconvenient. I find myself constantly juggling various responsibility and this limits my ability to engage in conversation that requires more attention. As a result I often avoid text that involve detailed description or lengthy discussions. Additionally I feel that texting can sometimes lead to misunderstanding because messages like the tone and emotion announces conveyor through voice. They can result in miscommunication making interaction feel awkward or unclear. I prefer interactions where I can express and receive emotion more effectively. In some way while texting has its place in our modern world it’s not important it’s not something I particularly in the I value direct conversation more as they feel me more connected to the people I care about. Ultimately I believe that a quick phone call can often convey a message is a more meaningful way in a more meaningful way.
