Yes, I think celebrations are experienced differently by different generations. I am pretty sure that the statement is true because in our current generation people may celebrate online through video conferencing. In the past people used to come together from different places and celebrate at a common place where as people now do the completely opposite. They sit there at their home and they celebrate through video conferencing and also in the past people celebrated for even a minute thing like for example like good yield of crop where as people have become more expected and they celebrate through video conferencing. They want something bigger to be celebrated.
