Swimming is a very enjoyable activity and it's the best exercise for anyone. Aside from this, swimming is a group activity for me. It would be better to swim outdoors with friends than to swim alone in a private pool. When you are with your friends, you can play games while swimming. You can enjoy your time, and it will help with your mental peace as well. But if someone prefers privacy, then an indoor pool would be better for them.
