Actually, there is a belief that intelligent individuals tend to be selfish in some ways of life, but I wouldn't agree with that statement. I think that being selfish or not having a good personality is not connected with intelligence. Some smart people use their knowledge to help others and solve problems. However, we have to agree that there are some people who become proud or think they are better than everyone else. It depends more on a person's nature rather than just on their intelligence.
