Yes, definitely. The culture of the past has a significant impact on today's culture. Because today's culture is, in a way, a continuation of that of the past. For example, nowadays in China we use simplified Chinese characters as a text to convey information. But in the past, we used traditional Chinese characters. I think these two forms of text are very similar. But nowadays we are just using a simplified form, and it definitely has a very strong influence on our daily culture.
