Well, that's a tough question. Probably cities should be designed in a way where all the facilities and buildings are located close to each other. At least the basic ones, like parks, grocery stores, and so on. Accommodations for older people should be in this area too, so that everyone can get to the right place faster. In this way, the aging population will see many benefits regarding their health because they will not have to deal with long distances. That is why there will be fewer backaches, as well as problems with their legs and so on. Regarding flats and apartments themselves, there should be fewer rooms, or they should be joined together to make it easier to move in the space. I think it will be better to accommodate older people in houses or flats that are only one floor.
