I believe the pervasive nature of social media has a multifaceted impact on our mental health. On one hand, it fosters global connectivity and awareness. However, from a psychological perspective, constant use of phone leads to social compression. Users are frequently exposed to creating either those versions of others, beliefs which can trigger profound feelings of indigo AC and lower self-esteem. Furthermore, the constant barrage of information and stimuli can create a sense of over-helm and digital fat due. This often manifests as increased anxiety or even smartphone addiction as individuals feel an underlying pressure to remain perpetually connected. In the long term, if people don’t set firm boundaries around their screen time, it can significantly disrupt sleep patterns and lead to social isolation, ultimately, it’s detrimental to one’s overall well-being.
