The internet has a significant impact on people's lives today. On the positive side, it makes communication much easier through social media platforms like TikTok, WeChat, and Twitter. People can connect with friends and family across the globe instantly. However, the internet also has negative impacts, such as social isolation and increased peer pressure. The constant exposure to curated online personas can lead to feelings of inadequacy and comparison, impacting mental health and well-being.

Um, the Internet definitely has a profound impact on, uh, people’s lives today. Um, when it comes to the positive impact on people’s lives, um, I would say, um, it brings, ah, the communication between people much easier through social media platforms such as, um, TikTok and Wechat, Twitter and all that. Um, but also have negative impact on our lives as well, um, such as social segregation, um, and peer pressure in general.
