I believe there are some interventions being put in place internationally to address income inequality. However, this approach hasn't been effective for a long time. Many countries are grappling with corruption, which reduces the amount of resources that poor people can access in a year. Although international communities are trying to reduce the gap between the rich and the poor, it will always lag behind because of the mindset of people wanting to hold on to what little they have instead of actually working hard to reduce the predicament causing these major gaps.
