I think increasing the reliance on online communication can actually affect the social skills in your adult both negatively and positively. For the positive side, by relying on online communication, it can help young adults to interact with people from other countries, from other places. it can actually enables them to bridge wider audience as opposed to just interact with people that is in the same area of them. However, by relying more on online communication instead of offline or meeting in place, it can actually reduce the social skills because young adults can be more too comfortable in just talking with phones instead of meeting up face to face and hence it can actually affect them negatively because it makes them be afraid to actually meet people in real life.
