To some extent yes, but I wouldn’t say that it’s the main reason for everyone. For people who are struggling to make ends meet, I think financial stability may obviously be the top priority and a higher salary can strongly influence their decision, but for people who who have a certain level of financial security. I think the other factor is such as carry progression, job satisfaction and work-life balance become equally important. Personally, I would want a job that gives me financial independence and allows me to grow personally and professionally and I really enjoy what I do.
