The perception of love from society varies drastically from region to region. For example, in America, love is viewed differently. You can love another person; it's a behavior exhibited by humans. But when you compare this to India and specific parts of India, love is often prohibited. The values our parents and grandparents instilled in us are evident as they grew up. For instance, our grandparents got married through an alliance and had no prior connection before that. This tradition tends to carry on to the next generations. However, society as a whole is changing because, as generations pass, the way we think as a society also evolves. Now, even in the most remote places where love was once prohibited, it is becoming more generally accepted. This shift is just a passage of time, and it is evident.
