I like to talk about turquoise. I really don't like this color because of a bad memory associated with it. What made it particularly hateable for me? I was five years old when I got my first injury. We went to the hospital, and I was screaming very loudly. They quickly got me onto the bed. I was lying there, and they administered anesthesia that didn't work. I remember the doctors stitching my wound, and I felt everything. I remember feeling this pain, and it was so bad. The room had turquoise walls, and that was the color I was looking at when I had this unbelievably awful feeling. Looking back, I understand how traumas can lead you to those kinds of deductions. This experience made me hate that color.
