I would like to talk about my friend Sarah. She is one of the most emotionally expressive people. I know. And that’s something I really admire about her. I first met her at school. We were in the same study class. And right from the start I noticed how open she was about her feelings. And one of the things that stands out about Sarah is that she never hides her emotions. If she is happy, you can see it all over her face. She lights up a lot easily and gets really animated. But at the same time, if she is upset or frustrated, she doesn’t bottle it up. She will talk about what’s bothering her instead of keeping it to herself, which I think is quite healthy. What makes her openness even more remarkable is that she is not afraid to be vulnerable to a lot of people, including myself. I tend to put on a brave face when we are struggling, but Sarah doesn’t do that. She is comfortable sharing her height and love with the people she trusts. And I really respect that about her because it makes her incredibly genuine and you always know where you stand with her. There is no credence, no second guessing. It also makes her a great friend because she encourages others to open up as well. Personally, I feel lucky to have her in my life. Her honesty is refreshing and she is tough to me as expressing emotions isn’t a sign of weakness and it actually takes a lot of strength.
