Now, I would like to talk about a plan that I had to change unexpectedly. Last winter, one of my close friends and I decided to watch the newly released second part of the film called the Jannat. Since we watched the first part together at the same cinema and completely enjoyed it, we thought it would really great to continue the tradition. It was going smoothly at first. We arrived at the cinema on time and bought popcorns, drinks, as well as a few other snacks, and couldn’t wait for the film to begin. However, just a few minutes before the screening, the electricity suddenly went out because of a heavy rainstorm. Also, we waited passionately for the staff to restore the power. It became clear that the problem wouldn’t be solved at any time soon. Rather than letting the situation ruin our day, we decided to make the most of it by heading to any nearby shopping mall, where the electricity was still working. My friend bought a beautiful dress for her upcoming birthday, while I treated myself to a couple of new outfits. Afterwards, we had dinner at the cozy cafe, spent hours chatting and laughing together. Also, we missed the film. We created equally memorable memories together with her. And before going home, we agreed to book new film tickets for the following weekend instead. Lastly, I would say also sometimes things don’t go according to the plan, a positive attitude can turn disappointment into a wonderful memory.
