Last year during the winter season, I joined a volunteer team to clean the beach, and it is one of the jobs that I enjoyed a lot. It also had a significant effect on my entire life. When I joined this volunteer team, I needed to clean the whole beach with the team members, and they were very supportive and coordinated. We cleaned the beach together. After cleaning the beach, our coastline was in bad shape, and the quality of the air was very unhygienic. After cleaning the beach, it became very beautiful and green, and our team, including me, also increased awareness of the negative effects of throwing plastics anywhere, especially on the beach. After doing this job, it encouraged me to protect our environment. Eventually, I tended to use fewer plastic products. I also motivated my friends and family members to use paper bags instead of plastic bags. I enjoyed it a lot, and I felt great.

I think both should take responsibility. The government can make strict low-spilled recycling systems and give more money for green projects. However, individuals also matter. We can save water, reduce waste, and the public transport. Neither side can solve environmental problems alone, so they need to work together.
