Alright, so a language test that I’ve taken in the past has been IELTS as well. And I took it about two years ago. As you may already know that the IELTS exam expires within the span of two years. So here I am again. I took it in my hometown which is Vastabad Pakistan. And they had an IELTS center so I also went to a dedicated test or examination place. I was there for about three hours and a half I believe. There was the arrangement of listening, reading and writing. I don’t remember clearly if the speaking was before it or after. Yeah, but it went pretty well. I think I scored fairly enough. This time around I do wish to score higher. But well, we’ll see. I am not someone who puts a lot of pressure on myself for some things that I can’t control. The main skill that it acquired was good listening in English, then reading, writing, of course. Writing was a part that I struggled with a bit because of the time. But in the end everything seemed alright and I finished within the given time limit. Apart from that, the language that I was tested upon was English. And the knowledge that they mainly tested I believe was vocabulary, was vocabulary and grammar. Apart from that, I think you have to have like coherence, cohesion, with the knowledge of a lot of synonyms. You have to paraphrase and writing as well. It sometimes can be difficult. I believe this was a good indicator of my language abilities but not completely. I wouldn’t say it was the only indicator that could show my language abilities because in different situations I can use language differently and perhaps in some situations better than the others. That’s all.
