Learning skills independently can be a challenging experience. While information is readily available, it can be difficult to grasp the fundamentals of a new skill or subject without guidance. Seeking help from experts can significantly reduce the time it takes to understand the basics. On the other hand, learning independently can be an exciting process. You have the freedom to choose your learning style and pace, and you're not bound by the constraints of a structured environment. This allows for greater flexibility and personalization in your learning journey.

Well, the main distinction is learning skills on your own can be daunting experience as, uh, even though with the accessibility of information now, it is hard to at least have, ah, the first time to understand the foundation of the new skill or the new subject. They’re just trying to learn. So it’s always a good idea to ask others who have expertise to cut down the time on you by, uh, explaining the foundation at least. Whereas learning on your own can be, uh, exciting, uh, process, as when you learn your own, you’re, um, more comfortable with, ah, the style of teaching, style of learning you like, you, um, not tied to.
