I think there are some drawbacks to living near the sea. The first is the risk of natural disasters such as tsunamis. I remember once I read the news about the catastrophe in Japan, and it really frightened me for quite a long time when I went to the sea. Secondly, I think the lifestyle beside the sea can pose a threat of drowning, especially for children because they are not well prepared or educated enough. They are likely to go swimming and get drowned, especially in the flood season or when the waves are too high.
