The main difference is the feeling you get from the performance. If you are watching a live performance, you can connect with the people around you who are experiencing the same performance. You can feel the excitement instantly. You get to see your favorite comedian live and have a sense of bonding with them. Watching the performance on TV diminishes this joy because you are alone or have only a few people in the same room. It makes it boring and less fun, and you don't get to connect with people who share the same interests as you. I think that would be the main difference.

The main difference is the feeling you will get from the performance. If you are watching a live performance, you will be able to connect with people around you in the same performance. You will be able to feel the excitement instantly. You will get to see your favorite comedian live and have the sense of bonding with them. While watching the performance on TV kills this joy because you will be alone or have only few people in the same room. So it makes it boring and less fun and you don’t get to connect with people who have the same interests with you. I think that would be the main difference.
