This is actually quite controversial, as the famous people in my country tend to be either singers and actually talented individuals or those involved in a lot of scandals. I think the reason they are famous is that they have many viewers and a lot of fans listening to their music. I think it is alright if a person is actually talented and does their job very well, but I feel like those who are famous due to the controversies surrounding them are quite, I don't know, damaging the reputation of the whole entertainment industry in some ways.
