Well, mobile phones have obviously facilitated communication over social media websites. But on the other hand, they have hindered interpersonal skills. To put it more simply, people tend to resort to their phones every time they feel bored due to low attention spans. This may make their friends feel pushed away or ignored, which is a really negative consequence of overreliance on technology. Overall, while cell phones have made it easier to connect with others, they have also made us drift apart slowly and drain our friendships gradually.
