Well, as I observe, Vietnamese tend to visit street markets more. I think the main reason for this is that they are likely to purchase cheaper products that have the same value as the products sold in shopping malls and shopping centers. For example, you can see a lot of Vietnamese people in the street markets who are likely to buy mass-produced items at a lower price. They have the same value but are cheaper. So, yeah, that is why shopping malls are less preferable in Vietnam.
