This addiction to work in some people may stem from many factors. For some, they find the work really attractive and it matches their skill set that they have gained and developed since they were young. They find the most potential job that allows them to continue developing their skills to a very high level. On the other hand, there are those who work for financial reasons; obviously, when they realize the work they are doing can bring them a lot of profit, there is no reason for them to stop. I think those are the two most prevalent causes. To list more, there are a thousand, but I think those are the most common ones.
