Additionally, in my country, people tend to celebrate different events throughout the year because they think these events are symbols of love and patience and are really meaningful for them. During this celebration, people cook different and various dishes and each dish has a specific meaning and are specially cooked for that event. But one of them really stands out for me, which is Osh, a traditional food which is eaten in Yalda night, the first night of winter, every year. In the past, people used some professional cooks to make this dish, but now these days, our grandmothers cook it because it has a traditional taste and it can take us back in time when we were children and can bring up some joyful moments for us. The ingredients of Osh are vegetables, beans, rice and meat. The process of making this dish is really tricky and sensitive and it requires a lot of attention, so anyone is unable to make the dish. I really like it because it’s a symbol of kindness and gathering for me and I’m really passionate for it to reach the Yalda night every year.
