I would say no, probably it's all the other way around. When I was younger, the internet itself was not that widespread, so I believe the older I get, the more messages I send.

Yes, of course. As I mentioned before, I used text messages quite frequently, almost every day. When I was younger, I sent more messages to my family because it helped me keep in touch with them.
