Do you believe that social media platforms have a responsibility to combat the spread of misinformation?

In my perspective, social media is now used by so many people, or most of the people in this world. We have to enhance the security of social media itself to prevent the spread of misinformation. We need to enhance the security of many social media platforms.

In my opinion, many of the platforms play a significant role in addressing misinformation, which is common in any media activity. For example, business accounts can book famous people to speak positively and to share information. This way, people can believe in this virtuous environment and receive different results from media advertisements.
