Personally, I prefer to have a small group of friends because I believe that if we have a few friends but are close to each other, we can talk about everything and ask for help with whatever the situation is. So, I think I prefer Asimov's good offering.
I prefer having a small group of close friends. I think it's better to have a few people we can trust in comparison to a large collection. With my best friends, I can be myself and talk about anything. I believe in quality, not quantity.
Actually, I used to have a lot of friends in my childhood, but as I grew up, I understood that having many friends isn't always beneficial. When you have a problem and need a solution, only three or four friends will come and help you.
