Do young people take their parents' advice on choosing a major

In my opinion, it depends on the child's behavior. If the child is well-behaved and on the right track, they are more likely to take their parents' advice. However, if the child is not well-behaved and their parents are not setting a good example, the child may not be as likely to follow their advice.
