Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to report that some documents were stolen. My name is Divy Patel, and I am working as a project manager in our company. I would also like to apologize for being careless.
Yesterday, I was going home in my car. I stopped at a store to buy some fruits. When I went into the fruit store, I forgot to close my car’s doors. After 5 minutes, someone opened the door and took my bag. Then, he left on his motorcycle. This whole footage is recorded in the store’s camera.
My house key, office room key, and laptop were in the bag. Moreover, the blueprint of our recent project was also there. Some of our clients’ personal details were in my bag. These documents are very vital because I have a meeting next Monday with our clients. In this meeting, I will discuss project requirements, the estimation of the project, and how much time it will take to complete the project.
I have reported a FIR at the police station, and I also have a backup of project documents in my office computer.
Once again, I apologize for this inconvenience.
Yours faithfully,
Divy
