The bar chart provides information about driving licenses between men and women from the United Kingdom in the period from 1979 to 2006, and the second one gives information about the number of young men and women drivers.
Overall, men have significant values in both bar charts than women. In the first bar chart, both genders experienced a gradually upward trend during the given 30-year period. In the second one, the number of younger drivers is lower than the older ones for both genders.
By 1976, in the first chart, the difference between men and women was 40%, where 70% of men have a license to drive and women have 30%, respectively. By the end of the given period, the difference contained 20%, which shows that women had seen more dramatical rose than men. In comparison, the figure of men who have a driving license slightly increased by 10%, but women have doubled their statistic.
In the second one, by the beginning of the period, exactly a half of men were young drivers, while for women there was 30%, respectively. From 17 to 20 year old drivers both groups show a slight decline, for men by about 5% and women’s percentage dropped by 10%.
