The given bar chart compares the amount of renewable energy in four countries over the three periods (2000,2004 and 2007).
Overall, it is clear that Norway was leading in the supply of renewables energy in all three years, followed by Iceland in the second place, while Australia was behind Germany, it had the least proportion of the renewable energy.
From 2000 to 2007, Norway experienced a growth in the amount of renewable energy of the utter supply, started at just above 60% in 2000, and then rose by about 65% in 2004, and finally reached a peak of around 79% in 2007. However, Iceland witnessed a fluctuating tend in renewable energy’s figure, began at slightly over 50% in 2000, increased to roughly 59% in 2004, before dropping to around 55% by 2007.
There was an increase in the figure of renewable energy in Germany. It grew by nearly 11% in 2000, and by 15% in 2004, reaching 18% by the year 2007. Australia accounted for roughly 8% in 2000, but this number increased to exactly 10% in 2004, before decreasing by 1% to 9% in 2007.
