Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope this email finds you well.

I’ve read an article in a local newspaper and learnt that your company is planning to build some new houses in the west side of Hoang Hoa Tham street. As a resident living in that area, I am highly concerned about this building project and keen to share with you some comments for your consideration.

Let me start with overall comments on the project. As proposed in your plan, the current uncontrolled rubbish area will be removed and replaced by newly built-in houses, which I believe is a great initiative. The smell from that rubbish area has severely affected nearby residents’ health and daily life for quite a long time. Moreover, the newly built housing infrastructure will attract more people coming to live in this area, which then helps create a bigger community and draws more attention to the living quality.

On the other hand, I am grateful if your company could take into consideration on the following points when beginning construction. First, please take necessary measures to reduce the construction noise as the lowest level as possible and the work should be allowed from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm every day. Second, your company should plant a new row of maple trees along each side of the road as the old ones will be destroyed by the construction.

I am looking forward to seeing newly built houses in our street soon.

Your faithfully,

Van Nguyen.
