Dear Jacob,
I am very delighted that you are coming to stay with me! When I heard this, I was on cloud nine. However, unfortunately, I have an official meeting to attend today. I am writing this letter to inform you about the arrangements I’ve made for your visit.
To begin with, I have hired a taxi for you to ensure that you reach home safely. The taxi driver will pick you up from the railway station. His contact number and the taxi number are enclosed in this letter. When you arrive home, you’ll find a little box behind the flower plant—this is where the house key is hidden. Please open the door and take some time to rest.
Moreover, I have also arranged your breakfast. I made your favorite South Indian dish, idli sambar. I hope you will enjoy it! I really wanted to pick you up from the station, but I must attend this important meeting. As you know, this meeting is crucial because clients are visiting from abroad, and my senior has requested my presence to present on our behalf. I sincerely apologize for not being able to meet you.
Additionally, I will join you in the evening, and we can spend some quality time together by going out for dinner. We can also chat about your plans for further studies.
Looking forward to seeing you in the evening!
Yours truly,
Martin
