Band 5+: A friend is coming to your country for a short visit and has asked for advice about things to see and do. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter: Suggest some places to visit. Recommend events or activities they can do. Provide information about accommodations and food.

Note: Both the topic and the answer were created by one of our users.

Dear Jack,

Hi, how are you? I’m writing this to recommend several places that can be visited when you are traveling to my country on this christmas holiday.

There are some tourist destinations which usually newcomers visit Indonesia, especially my hometown Bali. Kuta beach is the most beautiful beach here as it has golden sunset so you can enjoy your time here. Beside that, you can walk around Legian streets to purchase some souvenirs and traditional foods.

I’d like to recommend you to visit monkey forest in Ubud because you can see a lot of monkeys and big trees with fresh air quality. After that watching kecak dance in GWK is a good idea also as the dancers are very beautiful.

Balinese usually spend their time having dinner and enjoy with their friends in Jimbaran hills because there are many foods sold cheaper than other places. You must come here and try nasi langgi!!. If you are confused with the accommodation, you can sleep in my house for several nights.

Please feel free to contact me if you need some help.

Best regards,

Fiky
