Dear Stef,
I’m very excited to hear that you’re planning to go for holidays and would be more than happy to answer your questions.
Last month, I spent my bank holidays in Dublin. Well, believe it or not, I spent the most memorable days in this city, although this place is so underrated by the media. Even now, I have an exhilarating feeling, because there were so many things I did there.
For a start, I stayed in a guesthouse because my budget couldn’t stretch to a smart hotel. Although there were few amenities, it had a lovely air bedroom which was completely fixed up. Dublin is a fascinating town with impressive buildings, mouth-watering food, the best whiskey in the world and if you have a thirst for adventure, you can join in many trekking activities.
However, if you want to buy some souvenirs or local products to reminisce this trip, you have to spend a fortune. Be careful, the prices are ridiculously high in food and beverages as well, so you need to make proper research before you go. Mind you, that you can find some Italian or Greek restaurants, which offer dishes in reasonable price.
Just my two cents. Let me know what you think about it.
Best,
Panos
