Band 6+: A friend told you recently that he/she had gone to an excellent restaurant. You wonder if this restaurant will be suitable for your birthday party next week. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter tell your friend about your planned party ask what the restaurant is called and for directions to get there ask what kind of food it serves and if your friend has any particular recommendations from the menu You should write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:

Dear pat,

I’m writing to ask you about the restaurant you told me about. I am planning to throw my birthday party next month and wondering if that restaurant would be great venue for it.

Could you remined me the name of it? I know you mentioned it but I can’t remember exactly. Also, do you mind sharing me the directions to get there from our shool dorm? I would like to go there for an inspection before making a reservation.

Also, what kind of meal do they serve? You showed me the photo of their signiture meal the other day, which looks absolutely fantastic. However, I was’t so sure what kind of cuisine they serve because the meal looks so contemporary and artistic. In addition, is there any particular dishes you recommend for me beside it?

I am so excited for my birthday and want to orginze a perfect party. You know I am such a perfectionist so your help regarding the restaurant would be crucial! Oh, and of course, you are invited to the party.
