Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing with regard to the advertisement published at the local newspaper regarding a vacancy at your esteemed museum. My name is Maya Al-kouzi. I am history student. Studying history for four years.

I believe you wonder why I am a good candidate to this job. Being a self-dependent student, I had to work several jobs in sales to pay my rent and college fees. Therefore, I have valuable experience in dealing with customers. Besides, based on my major of study, it is safe to say that I have a firm background knowledge about some of the exhibits. Thus, I will be able to talk about them thoroughly to the customers.

I had the pleasure to visit your museum before and the experience was unmatched because it introduced me to new civilizations that I had never encountered before. Therefore. Working for you, even if only during the holidays, will be so beneficial to me in pursuing my education.
