In your letter tell your friend about your planned party ask what the restaurant is called and for directions to get there ask what kind of food it serves and if your friend has any particular recommendations from the menu

Dear Pat,

How are you? How is your kitty? I am doing very well and hope you are sailing the same boat. Do you remember, you told me about the restaurant that you have been to? I was thinking of doing my birthday celebrations over there. Can you share some more details about it?

As my birthday is on the 10th of next month. So, I want to plan everything ahead of time to avoid any inconvenience. Starting with can you tell me the restaurant’s name and the address. And is it transit accessible for all of our friends as they live in different parts of the town. Then, talking about the menu, what kinds of food do they offer? Do they have vegetarian and non-vegetarian? Does their menu consist of a wide variety of cuisines, like, Chinese, Korean, Indian, and especially, Italian? Moreover, what kinds of desserts do they have? Also, what did you try last time, do you have any recommendations for the party? I have to be mindful of my budget and the quantity of their dishes.
