Dear Divyang,

Yesterday, I received your invitation letter. It has been a while since we communicated, and I am glad that you wrote a letter to invite me to stay at your place for the upcoming long weekend. Thank you for that. However, I cannot come.

Th reason behind not being able to come is that I have just started to work for a new employer. I have been buried with a lot of new job responsibilities. Although I am under training and not working as much as I suppose to, I cannot ask for a day off now. I feel it will create a negative image in my boss’s head.

I promise you that we will do this some other time. Just let me know your next holiday plans and I will be there. On the other hand, you can also come and visit me during this Halloween. You know that you are always welcome at my place irrespective of time and date. Meanwhile, take care my dear friend!
