Dear Vanessa,
I am writing you to express my gratitude for your invitation to visit you to Canada on upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I’d really like to visit you, however due to my hectic work schedule I won’t be able to make it this time.
Let me explain my situation in more details. I recently started working as a Jr. Software developer at a start-up, hence I was not able to keep in touch lately. We are scheduled to lanch a website just around Christmas holidays for which everyone is very excited and working hard to meet the deadlines. I’m also a bug-fixer so any issues related to the webapp need to be fixed promptly. I am not only overworking, but also extremely pleased with my contribution to project’s success. The owner of the startup is my professor friend who I want to impress for my growth as a developer.
Can you please let me know if you’re free in the new year? I’ll have a week of holidays so I like to visit you then. I’d also want to see the new furniture decor you bought and how you decorated your place. I am eager to play with Thor and cats. Let’s prepare some delicious meals and catch up about your plans.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
Warm Regards,Bhavik
