Overall, dinner stands out as the most unhealthiest meal in USA, which means that it has far more unhealthy nutrients of all four, while Lunch standing second whereas the obesity threatening compounds in breakfast almost similar in terms of having sodium, saturated fat and added sugar, however snacks, contains the most amount of sugar.
In first given pie chart, we can see the information about containing sodium in four types of meals, dinner having the most amount, 43%, coming next is lunch with 29%, which is the second largest portion of having sodium out of all four. Interestingly, both breakfast and snacks contain 14% sodium, the lowest among the four meals
Secondly it’s the proportion of fat contained in foods. For instance dinner and lunch have more fat, 37% and 26% respectively, whereas snacks and breakfast containing 21% and 16% in that order.
Last chart shows the amount of added sugar included in all four types of meals. For example snacks contains 42%, which means that it has the most sugar than other foods, moreover dinners’ 23% consists of sugar, meaning it’s percentage is far lower than that of snacks. However, lunch and breakfast contain sugar almost in similar amount with 3% separating them, 19% and 16% respectively
