The diagrams below compare the floor before and after redevelopment of an art gallery. All in all, the spaces got reorganised and sustainable.
The first diagram presents an initial floor plan, where the building consists of six main areas. The compact entrance area is located on the right side of the gallery. After entering the building a visitor gets into the Lobby zone, which is placed right next to the office. Beyond these rooms, there is a temporary exhibition space, divided into two separate rooms. The permanent exhibition space is situated right after a temporary one, serving as an end of the gallery.
The second diagram depicts the proposed plan of the building with substantial changes, redistributing the spaces and uniting them in three connected zones. The enlarged entrance area is relocated to the Parkinson court side, after which the visitor gets into the permanent exhibition space. The former lobby and office area are switched to the education area with its private entrance and storage. The special exhibition space and its store occupies a right part of a building.
