The graph shows a comparison of landline and mobile phone usage in 6 different countries, measured per 100 people.
In general, what stands out from the graph is that landlines are not as popular as mobile phones in majority of countries. Another interesting point is that America has the least number of mobile phones.
Looking at the details, as for Japan, Sweden and Turkey, all they have approximately equal number of mobile phones, roughly 87, 80 and 89, respectively. Conversely, concerning landlines, their exploitation is remarkably different. For instance, using landlines in Japan account for about 35, while in Sweden and Turkey it levels off around 55 and 67,5, respectively.
Speaking of America and China, it can be seen that landlines application exceeds mobile phone. For example, twice as landlines are used than mobile phones in America, accounting for roughly 60. As regards China, difference between landlines and mobile phones is not huge and amounts to about 68 and 46, respectively.
Additionally, Russia has developed both types of communication. Close to 67,5 mobile phone and around 50 landlines are used per 100 people.
