The map shows how a village called Chorleywood has developed over the last 120 years. There have been several changes, the most noticeable being the increases in accommodation, the introduction in a year of 1970 to 1994, near the Chorleywood park and golf course.
In 1868 to 1883, next to the main road, there is a small place that has been developed and it experienced the first development in that period of time. The next project was at about 1883 to 1922, where the Chorleywood station is, had expand from right of the railway to left side of the railway which has been built in 1909. The third extending was in the tear of 1922 to 1970 and it filled all over the left side of the main road and it continued along the railway after the second expand.
Finally, the last developed area was along the motorway at about 1970 to 1994 which it is allocated a larger share of all the developers. On the other hand motorway had a contribution in the third part expanding because motorway was built on 1970 either.
