The bar chart compares a company’s donations to six different types of charities: Social Welfare, Education, Environment, Health, Wildlife, and Arts, between 2012 and 2014. The values are shown in thousands of dollars.
A more detailed look at the chart reveals that social Welfare clearly accounted for the highest donations in all three years. In 2012, the company allocated roughly 22k $ to this cause, which was cut off slightly to around 24k$ in 2014. This category always remained patently far ahead the other compartments.
In contrast, Education and Environment received similar amounts, around $ and 7000$ respectively. Funds allocated to support ecological and educational causes remained steady with no remarkable changes over the three years. Yet, it is worth noting that the amounts alloted to education tended to marginally exceed those devoted to the environment.
Health and Wildlife donations were lower than Education but showed slow growth. Health started just below $110 in 2012 and rose to nearly $ in 2014 overtaking Environment and Education. Wildlife grew from around $63,000 to $8k5,000. Although the amounts were smaller, both witnessed a clear upward trend. Arts received the lowest donations, starting at about $3,000 in 2012.
