The maps illustrate changes that happened to the town of Brindell and local areas by 1800,1900, and 2000.
Overall, the area became less green and was industrialized.
In 1800, the area consisted of a large woodland in the northwest corner of the map, and a farmland with crops in the northeast corner. A farmland for animal husbandry was situated in the southwest corner of the map, whereas Brindell stood in the southeast corner. By 1900, the size of the woodland became two times as smaller as in 1800. The area for animal husbandry was replaced with an industrial area and a village for workers called Bun Hill.
In 2000, the woodland became even smaller, spanning across approximately a quarter of the initial size. The industrial area, the Bun Hill village, and the town of Brindell were extended. Meanwhile, the area around the woodland also became the part of the Bun Hill with a park that was introduced there.
