The bar graph shown above illustrates the income earned by two film firms, DC and Marvel, from 2012 until 2022. Generally, both companies relatively show upturned trend over the past 10 years. Although they both fluctuated over the course of the years provided.
In 2012, DC has a slightly higher income than Marvel, in which it kept growing upto $2.5 billions, where it matched with Marvel. DC’s income dropped in 2018, showing a significant difference with its competitor firm, Marvel. DC then continued to increase steadily until 2022, where it gained higher income than Marvel, at $4 billions.
In contrast, Marvel started off lower than DC, in which they earned only slightly above $1 billion in 2012. Over the next 8 years, Marvel show a positive trend, where it steadily spikes its income to $4 billions in 2020, which is its peak. However it dropped to $3.5 billions at the end of the decade, being overthown by its competitor, DC.
