Overall, watching TV or videos was the most popular activity for both genders, while skateboarding or rollerblading showed the lowest percentages. Boys generally participated in physically and electronic activities more than females, whereas art and craft were more widespread among girls.
Looking at the details, almost all boys and girls watched TV or videos, with figures accounting for almost 100%. Electronic or Computer games were also popular, especially among males, at about 80%, compared with approximately 60% for females. Likewise, boys were more likely to ride bikes, by making up slightly less than 80%, while the proportion of girls was just under 60%.
In contrast, girls showed more interest in art and craft, with around 60%, compared to roughly 40% of boys. Moreover, skateboarding or rollerblading was the least popular activity among participants, although boys were more involved than girls, accounting for about 40% and 23%, respectively.
