The two diagrams illustrate what changes a library has experienced from 1975 so far.Overall,the library has witnessed many modifications,changing it from a book-focus layout to the more multifunctional and user-oriented space.Some new facilities such as café and a computer section were added,creating more space for individuals,while the existing ones were expanded,encouraging more collaboration.There is also a section designed for disabled people,making the library more accessible
Prior to the development,the library was only devoted to different kinds of books.The library was accessible by stairs and upon to the entrance,to the left corner of the layout there was a long section designed for books and magazines.Just below this section it was bookshelves,facing shared areas,which was right above another bookshelves much bigger than the first one with different orders of shelves.To the right of the bookshelves there was a toilet,coming before a display of books for children.On the far right side of the layout,there was a row of two sections,occupied with new books.To the east of the layout, it was a library desk,standing between the new books and the children/s book sections.
Looking at the current design of the library,the entrance was in its previous location with stairs.However,in the place of the books and magazines,the new computers room was introduced,making the library much modernized.Beside to this section, a coffee block is located before the previous larger bookshelves.The southern part of the layout didn’t change over the span.The previous shared area relocated to the space between the library desk and the children/s section,with addition of new tables and chairs.One of the new books sections,right before the entrance was exchanged with a room,providing wheelchair acces
